The Start

Ok i have decided that i will write a blog for all you poker fans out there and also to keep everybody aware of how the pokers going so that you will no in advance whether i am in a good mood or not.

I have been playing for 2 and a half years and play mostly No-limit Hold em sit and gos, i won alot of money in the summer but for some reason blew it all and left myself with $30, that was annoying i should have been more responsible because i was just about to move up to the $30 sit and gos. But i had to re-build from that 30 and started playing again in early Febuary after a 3-4 month break(my girlfriend wishes i didnt i think lol!)

I started playing .10/25c cash games with my 30 which is well below the reccommended bankroll needed but i was hoping to hit a good streak that would get me going, thankfully i did and was on 100 dollars by the beggining of march. This meant i could finally play my specialty of sit and gos. I started playing the $5 sit and gos on poker stars, only with 20 buy ins(I would reccomend 30 buy ins to anybody,30-50 is a good amount) but i figured the games are soft and knew i could beat them and yes i did build my bankroll up. Then nearing the end of March i finally had enough to take a stab at the $10s on Party Poker as the games are easier and also alot quicker.

Since then i have been playing the $10s on Party but i started with a terrible run of variance(bad luck, to you non-poker players reading this) and was getting frustrated but i carried on and played through a 3 week variance patch(My longest ever!!!) but the last 3 weeks have gone ok, havent played as much as i liked but have a week to play now so gonna rack up some hours.

The last 3 days i am 13 buy ins up from only 6-7 hours play, which is good. Long may it continue. 13 buy ins more and i will then be able to move up to the 20s :-)

If anybody wants to chat to me about anything poker related feel free, i dont mind disscussing strategy and bankroll tips etc even how to play through variance. Look forward to hearing form you.

My next entry will be coming soon!!
